A Broader View of Intelligence—Rooted in You
You are more than your grades.
You are more than your resume.
You are smart in your own way.
The 8 Smartnesses—also known as Multiple Intelligences—offer a powerful lens to see your strengths beyond academics. Developed by Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner, this framework expands what we mean by "intelligence"—inviting you to recognize the many ways people think, learn, create, and contribute.
These intelligences represent diverse ways of understanding and engaging with the world. Everyone has a unique combination, with 2–3 typically feeling more natural or energizing.
Word Smart (Linguistic) – Loves reading, writing, storytelling, wordplay
Logic Smart (Logical-Mathematical) – Enjoys patterns, puzzles, reasoning, problem-solving
Picture Smart (Visual-Spatial) – Thinks in images, visualizes solutions, loves design or drawing
Body Smart (Bodily-Kinesthetic) – Learns through movement, touch, physical expression
Music Smart (Musical) – Sensitive to rhythm, tone, melody, or sound patterns
People Smart (Interpersonal) – Connects easily with others, good at empathy, teamwork, communication
Self Smart (Intrapersonal) – Reflective, self-aware, driven by inner goals and insights

Undifferentiated Profile: Your scores cluster closely together, showing a more balanced or broad set of intelligences. This suggests versatility and room to grow in many areas.
Tip: Both profiles are valuable. Differentiated profiles help you concentrate on key talents, while undifferentiated profiles highlight flexibility and diverse potential.
